This morning Latics welcomed Academy partners Safeguard Group to SportsDirect.com Park as they took delivery of their new Oldham Athletic branded vans.
In total 12 Safeguard Group vans now feature the Latics crest. Safeguard Group, based in Chadderton, became involved with Latics last season as Academy sponsors. We are entering the second season of our partnership as Safeguard continue their sponsorship of the club’s Academy.
Latics Head of Partnerships, David Broadbent, said, “We welcomed Ben and his team to Latics last season and the partnership proved to be a huge success, especially with the Youth team winning the Lancashire FA Cup. This season we are looking to further extend the partnership throughout the club. Safeguard are a local company with a national presence and are proud of their Oldham roots, we share a lot of the same ideas about moving forward and through our partnership we can work with each other to help realise our aims.”
Safeguard Group Education and community lead Ben Ingham said "I've been a Latics fan since I was a nipper and this is such a huge thrill for me personally and professionally, we are delighted to sponsor the Academy and look forward to working with them and the Community Trust in the future.
