Manager Lee Johnson cannot wait to get started after viewing Latics' 2014/15 fixture list.
Oldham Athletic will travel to Essex to face Colchester United in their opening fixture of the campaign and the manager is excited to get going.
He said: "It will be a tough game but a great one as well. We will take an army of supporters down there I'm sure and we will be looking to get off to the best possible start."
With more local games to be played next season, the gaffer is calling on supporters to get behind the players.
"With Rochdale, Preston, and Doncaster in the division, I'm sure they will bring good support so I hope with the new stand going up we can create the best atmosphere possible," added Johnson.
Yeovil Town will be an interesting fixture for the manager as he faces his former side and also his father Gary Johnson.
"I obviously looked out for the Yeovil game first and with it being on December 13, that could affect my Christmas and the number of presents I get," joked the manager.
