As we build up to the big kick off on August 9th Latics have three fascinating pre-season friendlies at Boundary Park and you can take your place in hospitality for one, two or all three encounters.
First up Latics host Premier League giants, Newcastle United. The game takes place on Tuesday, July 15 with a 7:30pm kick off. Alan Pardew’s side finished 10th in the Premier League last season and are looking to push on this time around.
On Saturday, July 19 Australian A-League side Melbourne City visit Oldham, recently acquired by Manchester City. The Melbourne side have added Damian Duff to their ranks and Spanish superstar David Villa will join them for a loan spell later in the season.
The final home friendly sees Championship side Huddersfield Town make the short journey over the Pennines to take on Lee Johnson’s men in what has become an annual fixture in recent seasons, Latics running out 3-2 winners in last seasons encounter.
