As Rotherham United depart and we welcome Fleetwood Town to the division, it is time to look at how many miles Latics supporters will be travelling next season.
Last season, the team travelled 5,964 miles around the country as they finished 15th in Sky Bet League One.
With teams such as Stevenage, Brentford and Carlisle United leaving the division and Rochdale, Barnsley and Chesterfield entering, supporters will be travelling less to support Latics next season.
With only a 12 mile round trip, local rivals Rochdale is the shortest trip of the season whilst Gillingham is the longest, with the team due to embark on a 504 mile round trip.
This campaign, Latics will only travel 5,424 miles, knocking 540 miles off last season's total. The figure is the equivalent of travelling from Boundary Park to Los Angeles.
