Oldham Athletic AFC will not be competing in the Final Third Development League next season.
The decision has come from manager Lee Johnson as he continues to make preparations for the 2014/15 season.Johnson said: "We are looking to go with a smaller squad next season. Instead of competing in the reserve league, we are looking for alternative friendlies behind closed doors to fit in with our training schedule."
