It is with regret that the Oldham Sunday League Challenge Cup Final, scheduled for Thursday, May 8 at Boundary Park has been cancelled.
This is as a result of a theft that occurred at the stadium after last Thursday’s charity game between a Latics XI and an Oldham Sunday League select side.
Several pairs of boots were taken from the visitors dressing room that belonged to the club's youth team players.
Both the club and the Sunday League are appalled by the theft and the actions of certain individuals and as a result the decision has been taken to cancel the scheduled final, which will now take place at Chadderton FC.
