Goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has joined Championship side Charlton Athletic on an emergency loan until December 30.
The 24-year-old played his only game for the club on Tuesday which ended in penalty heartbreak as he missed the decisive kick as Latics bowed out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.The goalkeeper signed for the club at the end of October but will now make the step up to the Addicks.
