Manager Lee Johnson and forward Jonathan Forte have been nominated for the October Player and Manager of the Month awards.
Johnson enjoyed a good month, remaining unbeaten for the whole of October. Four home wins against Barnsley in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, Walsall, Coventry and Bradford was matched with away draws against high-flying Peterborough and Chesterfield.The club propelled into the League One play-off spots for the first time this season.
That was in no small part to the form of Jonathan Forte who is also up for the Player of the Month award for League One.
The forward notched five goals during the month including a brace against Coventry which saw Latics record their biggest win of the season.
Johnson goes up against Notts County's Shaun Derry, Crewe Alexandra's Steve Davis and Preston North End's Simon Grayson.
Forte faces competition from Crawley's Gwion Edwards, MK Dons' Dean Lewington and Peterborough's Marcus Maddison.
The winner will be announced on Friday, November 7.
