Josh Ollerenshaw, who is the goalkeeping academy coach at the club, has been called up to the England C team to face Estonia tonight.
The 24-year-old, who was once on the books at Latics, plays for Colwyn Bay in the Vanarama Conference North and also has a part time role coaching the youth team goalkeepers at the club.
Ollerenshaw has earned his call up due to his fine form for his club which has also seen him rewarded by youth team boss Tony Philliskirk with a coaching role at Oldham Athletic.
The England C team is the football team that represents the country at semi-professional level.
Ollerenshaw is a late addition to Paul Fairclough's squad which sees him in the squad for the International Challenge Trophy Group A fixture.
The game takes place at Halifax Town's Shay Stadium and kicks off at 7.30pm.
