Oldham Athletic full back Connor Brown has joined Carlisle United on an emergency 28-day loan deal.
The full back, who has appeared six times this season, has joined the Cumbrian outfit in a bid gain match fitness.
Brown was a second half substitute in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Bristol City and is available to play for Carlisle in their FA Cup tie with Peterborough United at the weekend.
Speaking about the loan move, manager Lee Johnson said: "Connor was in need of games on a regular basis and similar to Dave Mellor's situation, it is ideal for him to take the opportunity of this 28 day loan."
