Andy Davies will be the man in the middle for Saturday's clash with Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
In his 12 games in charge this season, Davies has handed out 40 yellow cards and one red.
Davies last officiated Latics in their 1-0 defeat away to Crawley Town last season.
Paul Hobday and Stephen Ross will assist Davies whilst Wayne Grunnill will be Saturday's fourth official.
