Huge Latics fan and local hairdresser Danny Robinson became nationally recognised recently, making the top 10 shortlist of a national hairdressing competition.
A fan since birth, Danny recently beat stiff competition from around the UK to make the final of 'The Wahl - Search For A Star' competition in London.
The day included cutting hair on stage in front of thousands of spectators. Unfortunately Danny did not win the competition but took heart from his nomination.
Danny is opening a pop up barbershop at Crepe City, which is the UK's biggest trainer convention, this weekend with fellow barber 'Luke's Barber Shop'.
The 30-year-old cuts hair for several of the first team and youth team players including Danny Philliskirk, David Mellor and previously Jonathan Grounds.
Danny said: "I've built my business up from scratch and it is great to be recognised in a national way. I'm just a small shop in Shaw, Oldham so it is quite surreal to be nominated for these awards.
"The Oldham Athletic players that come in have really helped my business grow. As a fan, it is great that they come in and trust me to cut their hair."
