If you at a loose end this Bonfire Night and want to watch an entertaining firework display, head to Oldham Edge this evening to take in the breathtaking show.
The fun-filled entertainment for all the family kicks off at 6pm where visitors will be treated to fireworks, fire shows, a funfair and street entertainers.The gates open at 5pm and people can buy traditional hot bonfire food and take in the atmosphere which brings the town together.
The main firework event will start at 7pm with an X-Factor theme which will be recognisable to the public eye.
With temperatures set to drop tonight, the public are advised to wrap up warm and take advantage of the free car parking around the town centre.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
