Oldham Athletic youth team have drawn at home to Tranmere Rovers youth team in the first round of the FA Youth Cup.
Commenting on the draw, manager Tony Philliskirk said: "We never seem to get easy draws in the FA Youth Cup draw but it will be a testing draw. They are the only team that have beat us this season so it will be a tough game but we have improved since then."They are still unbeaten in the league but I'm just pleased we have a home tie because it gives the lads the chance to play on the SportsDirect.com Park pitch and it will be special for the players."
