David Mellor played 78 minutes for Alfreton Town on Saturday as he helped them secure a 4-2 victory over Torquay United.
The midfielder, who was playing live in front of the BT Sports cameras, saw his side run out convincing winners.Tom Shaw, Paul Clayton and a double from Karl Hawley sealed the win but it was not enough to take them out of the relegation places.
Mellor received a booking in the first half of the game and should be in the squad to face Chester on Saturday.
