Oldham Athletic are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Schofield as the club's new First Team Physiotherapist.
Schofield joins Latics, taking over from Jon Guy, and boasts a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field.The physio left his previous job with Northern Ballet to take up the role and has already had experience within a football club after spending five years with Doncaster Rovers.
Schofield has also worked in Rugby League with Keighley Cougars and Bradford Bulls.
The 38-year-old has a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy and a MSc in Sports Injury Rehabilitation and cannot wait to get started in his new role.
He said: "I have been in regular contact with the club over the past couple of weeks and I am up to date with where all the players are in terms of injury and recovery.
"It is always good coming into a new club and getting to know the players so I'm looking forward to working with them."
