"However, at this stage of my career, an exciting opportunity has presented itself and after a lot of thought I have decided to move on. Of course I wish Latics nothing but success moving forward during what is an exciting time for the club both on and off the field and I will be back as often as I can, as a fan to cheer on the lads."
Thanking him for his contribution to the football club, Chief Executive, Neil Joy, added: "Over the past two and a half years, Broady has worked tirelessly within the commercial department to re-energise the club's relationships with the local business community and develop new partnerships with companies and organisations that will stand the test of time. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank him for all his hard work during his time with us and wish him all the best in his future career.
"The commercial opportunities afforded by the new North Stand development at SportsDirect.com Park mean that our club can really look forward to an exciting future and we will be making further announcements about these opportunities and how we are to go about realising them in due course."
