Oldham Athletic youth team secured their passage through to the second round of the Football League Youth Alliance Cup with an excellent 3-0 away victory against Walsall.
Ryan Ellison, Ben Grant and Jordache Walters grabbed the goals against a well organised Walsall set-up to fire the young Latics, who are sponsored by Safeguard, into the next round of the competition.The draw for the next round of the competition will be made in due course.
