Director Barry Owen will be taking on the Ice Bucket Challenge on the pitch at half time against Gillingham on Saturday and is offering supporters the opportunity to bid to perform the act.Owen, who is the supporters representative on the board, has opened the invitation up to supporters to soak the director in ice cold water and all the money raised will go to Prostate Cancer UK.
The two supporters with the highest bid will be contacted and invited pitchside during half time to pour the water over the director.
Mr Owen said: "Prostate cancer is one of the most common forms of cancer in men and all the money raised will go towards research into the disease.
"The research is to help future techniques and treatment and I hope we can raise a lot of money to help the charity."
