Mighty Dragons Junior Football Club was founded in 2011 by a group of parents passionate about seeing children play sport, making friends and having fun. Since Mighty Dragons' formation in 2011, the club has continued to grow and is now an FA Charter Standard Club with six different age groups currently playing under the Mighty Dragons name with over 100 children accessing our training groups every week. In addition, the club also have an open age team for those over the age of 16.
Mighty Dragons U7s currently play in the Manchester Youth Mini Soccer League based in Failsworth with their season starting in September. They have gone from strength to strength over the last few months and the whole team are very much looking forward to their day at Oldham Athleti so they can showcase their talents in front of a large audience on the SportsDirect.com Park.
Today's team is coached by Catherine Hall, with the squad being:
Joshua Hesford, Casey Medwell, Molly Medwell, Theo Baker, Kagen Wright, Scott Bagshaw-Wainwright, Ronnie Bardsley, Charlie Cooper, Leon Shaw, Dylan Dobson and Zerubbabel Phiri.
