Amari Morgan-Smith grabbed a late leveller for Oldham Athletic last night, scoring his first goal of the season for his new side.
The forward, who appeared as a second half substitute, netted on 84 minutes to equalise for Latics and earn them a point.Speaking about his performance, Morgan-Smith said: "It was a very good point in the end. Swindon are a tough side to play against and they are hard to beat so we are happy to get a point.
"We had chances towards the end. We played better in the second half and maybe we should have nicked another goal."
The 25-year-old talked about his goal and admitted that he should have done better for Swindon's second goal.
"The gaffer had a little go at me for their goal but I was delighted to get the equaliser and hopefully we can push on now," admitted the forward.
"I waiting for the ball to fall to me and luckily it did and I put it away. I'll always get in and try to convert chances. I had a chance in the last game which I should have scored so it's nice to make up for it tonight and hopefully get more."
Morgan-Smith looked forward to Saturday's encounter with Notts County and is hoping to continue the five game unbeaten run.
He said: "If we have a better first half, we will have a good chance of winning the game. We'll go there and try and get the three points."
