Oldham Athletic have extended Luke Woodland's youth loan from Bolton Wanderers until the end of the season.
The midfielder put in a man of the match performance against rivals Rochdale and has impressed for the six games he has played for the club.
Manager Dean Holden was delighted to secure Woodland's services until the end of the season. He said: "All three loanees [Woodland, Sadler, Gerrard] have come in and done superb.
"Luke is still injured at the moment but we are looking to get him back in a few weeks. He has shown a great attitude since joining the club and we are happy to have him at the football club."
