CLUB STATEMENT: North Stand Announcement
Oldham Athletic wish to advise all supporters that due to the works that are still required to ensure that the facilities are ready, we will unable to open the new North Stand for our forthcoming Sky Bet League One fixtures against Bradford City and Peterborough United.
Although it is anticipated that the main power supply to the stand will be connected shortly, there is still time to make up to get the fit out and installations complete and signed off for use. All parties are working together to get things completed as quickly as possible and we will provide updates when we have further news.
We completely acknowledge the inconvenience and disappointment this will cause supporters and can only apologise whole heartedly for this situation.
The contingency plans for fans who have purchased tickets in the North Stand are in place and will be as per the arrangements for the matches against Fleetwood Town and Shrewsbury Town and full details will be relayed separately.
We remain committed to having our new stand operational as quickly as we can, and again thank all supporters for their patience and continued support.
