Striker Jake Cassidy has been ruled out for 12 weeks with ligament damage and a fracture to his lower leg.
The 22-year-old sustained the injury early into Saturday’s game with Fleetwood Town.
Manager Darren Kelly said: “It’s a massive blow to lose Jake for three months. He has started the season really brightly so he will be missed.
“It is now important that we rally around Jake and make sure he receives the support needed to get him back to full fitness.”
The club would like to wish Jake a speedy recovery from his injury.
