Manager David Dunn has given his thoughts after today’s Boxing Day fixture with Blackpool was postponed.
At 9am, the referee inspected the pitch at Bloomfield Road and deemed the playing surface unplayable.
Manager David Dunn was at the stadium when the decision was made and felt it was a correct decision.
He said: "I was on the pitch at 9am this morning. Parts of the pitch were fine but the other parts were unplayable so it’s understandable but also disappointing.
“However, that’s gone now and the lads are in training this morning in preparation for Monday’s game with Doncaster Rovers.
“Although it’s Christmas, and everyone wants to be with their families, the players are professional and know they must prepare correctly for the game on Monday.”
