Latics Supporters Raising Money For Royal Oldham Hospital

11 December 2015

Trust Director Chris Hill and his partner Sarah Keast are raising money for Royal Oldham Hospital and asking for fellow Latics supporters to help with donations.

The pair are hoping to raise £2,000 to fund a Cool Cot, which the hospital are in short supply of.

This follows the tragic death of their daughter Ava-Mai Robyn Hill, who was still born on October 20, 2015.

Cool Cot’s are a refrigerated cot to keep the baby’s temperature at what it should be.

Hill said: “Me and my partner Sarah would like to thank the staff, directors, players and supporters of Oldham Athletic for the kind messages of support and donations we have received.

“On October 20, our daughter, Ava-Mai Robyn Hill was still born. We want to do something positive in her memory and found the use of a Cool Cot really helped us and our family and gave us the opportunity to spend a little bit of time with our angel, that we wouldn’t have got otherwise.

“So we are raising £2,000 to purchase one of these for the Royal Oldham Hospital after being told they are in very short supply.

“We would appreciate any donations from fellow Latics fans and people in the region to help us reach our target.

“We are currently around half way there and have an online page set up for donations which is running until December 23. Thank you very much and keep the faith.”
