All Oldham Athletic players and backroom staff were present at the Royal Oldham Hospital to hand out presents to children this afternoon.
Every member of David Dunn’s squad were present to spread some festive cheer to children, who are unfortunate to be in hospital this festive period.
Dunn said: “It’s tough to see children in hospital at this time of year, especially as it’s the season of goodwill.
“As a community club, it is important we come down to the hospital and help put a smile on everyone’s faces and do our bit.
“We brought all the lads down, everyone in the Children’s Ward received a present and hopefully we did that little bit to make them feel better.”
Captain Liam Kelly added: “The nurses and volunteers deserve a special mention for the work they do over the Christmas period.
“They work unsociable hours and put in a lot of hard work to ensure the children enjoy a better Christmas so credit must go to them.”
