Darren Deadman will be the man in charge of Saturday's clash with Scunthorpe United.
In his 22 games this season, Deadman has handed out 84 yellow cards and eight reds.
He was last in charge of Latics in their 1-1 draw with Bristol City last season.
Glen Hart and Kevin Mattocks will assist the referee whilst Stephen Wade will be Saturday's fourth official.
