George Elokobi was named in the Football League Team of the Week after notching his third league goal of the season on Saturday.
Elokobi, who was celebrating his 29th birthday, nodded Latics into a first half lead against Notts County before Amari Morgan-Smith doubled the lead.Jonathan Forte rounded off the scoring as Athletic ran out convincing 3-0 winners.
