A thank you to Oldham fans by a Doncaster fan...
I would like to pass on my sincere thanks to a few Oldham fans who helped my elderly Mum today. I wasn't at the game but, as always, my 88 year old Mum was. We are both lifelong Doncaster fans.
As Mum left the stadium to walk back to her supporters coach she fell full length to the ground. A group of three or four male Oldham fans ran to help her.
Having made sure she was ok and helping her to her feet, one of the men then walked her to her coach. He told the driver what had happened and told him to make sure she was ok.
My Mum thanked the man and told him how she appreciated his help and attention. Unfortunately she didn't think to ask his name.
I wanted to let you know all this especially as we usually only hear the negative stories about footie fans. This guy was a true ambassador for your club today.
