Following representations from the Oldham Athletic's Safety Advisory Group, the Football League have taken the decision to postpone tomorrow's game with Rochdale.
Commenting, Neil Joy, Chief Executive said: "Player and spectator safety are always the primary considerations when determining whether a game can go ahead.
"Areas of the club’s footprint are treacherous and with the ground temperatures not expected to rise above freezing over the next 24 hours and snow forecast before, during and after the game it’s the right decision.
"We would like to thank the Football League for making an early decision to postpone the game and therefore minimising the disruption to supporters of both clubs and look forward to playing the fixture at a time when everyone can enjoy it in a safe environment."
A new date for the fixture will be released in due course.
