Oldham Athletic host Bolton Wanderers at SportsDirect.com Park tonight (7.45pm kick off).
Darren Kelly's men host the Championship side in his first game in charge in front of the home supporters.Latics spent last week in Scotland, being put through their paces at the University of Stirling, training and bonding ahead of the new season.
Whilst there, they took in two games against Scottish opposition, losing 1-0 against Scottish Championship side St Mirren.
However they were 5-0 victors over Stirling Albion courtesy of goals from Danny Philliskirk, Dominic Poleon, Rhys Turner and a double from trialist Alen Ploj.
The only absentees from that game were striker Jake Cassidy and Timothee Dieng, both of whom are also expected to miss tonight's game.
Kelly is expected to rotate his squad throughout the game as the players get crucial match fitness behind their belt for the season ahead.
