Manager Darren Kelly has identified targets he wishes to bring to the football club but will leave no stone unturned when recruiting a player.
The 35-year-old has made one summer signing so far with Lee Croft making the trip back to SportsDirect.com Park for his third spell with the football club.
Since his signing last month, Kelly has identified his targets and worked hard to bring them on board.
"Things are coming along nicely," he said. "You speak to a lot of managers and agents, probably more agents than managers, but that's the job.
"I have identified players I want to bring in and then we can start to chase up with managers about what they are like in the changing room.
"They have got to be good for us on and off the pitch and I think that is key. We need to have a good togetherness in the dressing room and know that everyone is pulling in the right direction.
"I'm very happy with how things are going and happy with the feedback I'm getting from the agents in terms of players wanting to come on board. Hopefully, in due course, everything will be sorted."
