Goalkeeper Jake Kean is delighted to be getting games under his belt at the club and is looking to get one over on his former loan club tomorrow afternoon.
Kean spent five games on loan with Yeovil Town at the start of this campaign and said he will offer advice if needed.
He said: "It was only a brief spell but I enjoyed my time there. I did alright but they have struggled a bit since I've been. It's a similar set up there. It's a great bunch of lads and the staff are brilliant.
"We will do our pre-match talk and Dean and Locky will have picked up on them. If they need my advice then hopefully I'm able to help but I'm sure the lads in the back room will have it covered."
The Blackburn loanee's first game for the club was a 3-0 home victory against Notts County and he has gone from strength-to-strength since then.
"I've enjoyed my stay here so far, it's been absolutely brilliant," Kean admitted. "I know the area well with living up here in the last five or six years.
"The lads are brilliant and we have a good team spirit here. Some of the performances we have put on are some of the best I've played in. On the flip side, when it goes badly, it goes badly but that's the same with any team but I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far."
Asked if he would consider a permanent move to Latics, Kean responded: "Yeah, definitely. If it meant getting out and getting games then that would be great.
"There are two types of goalkeepers; ones that want to play and ones that are happy to sit on the bench and not deal with the pressure. I don't see myself as that. With all the hard work you put in on a daily basis and throughout the week, if you're not playing at 3pm or 7.45pm then there really is no point in doing it all.
"If something came up that allowed me to move on from Blackburn and play games then I'd do it."
