Oldham Athletic Representatives To Take On London To Amsterdam Challenge

11 March 2015

This summer, five Oldham Athletic representatives will embark on the annual London to Amsterdam bike ride to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK.

Commercial manager Jenny Warburton (pictured centre) will captain the team and will once again be joined by her partner, Scott Jagger.

The pair will be joined by supporters Rob Stockford (pictured right) and Rick Wallis (pictured left) and the club's safety officer Bryan Lawton on their journey.

The five will cycle 145 miles over two days in order to raise vital funds and awareness for the Football League's official charity partner, Prostate Cancer UK.

They start their journey at Leyton Orient's Matchroom Stadium and finish their bike ride at Ajax's Amsterdam Arena.

Men United is Prostate Cancer UK's movement for everyone who believes men are worth fighting for and joining the London to Amsterdam ride offers the chance for friends to do something great together and help to beat prostate cancer.

Last year's event was hailed a huge success, with a squad of more than 150 riders helping to raise over £200,000.

The club must raise at least £5,000 so please dig deep to help them reach their goal.
