Oldham Athletic fanatic Kenny Jones had reason to celebrate when he was chosen as Sky Bet League One's Fan of the Month for February.
The award recognises fans' achievements in following their club and Kenny ticked all the boxes said the judges of this prestigious award.Kenny has supported Latics through thick and thin for over 55 years and he can remember every single game. Although suffering from a major illness, Kenny had not missed a game this season until the doctors stepped in to call a halt to his antics.
In addition, Kenny has been a programme seller at SportsDirect.com Park and follows the reserves and youth teams in addition to the first 11.
The players were in full attendance when Kenny received his award at Latics' Chapel Road training ground last week.
On receiving his award, Jenny immediately wanted to give recognition to the many Latics fans who travel the length and breadth of the country in their support and he received the award on behalf of every Latics fan.
"This is not about me," said Kenny. "It is abut a great club that carries the name of Oldham forward with pride and dignity across the world."
Congratulations, Kenny. We salute you.
