20% Rise On Season Ticket Sales

22 May 2015

Oldham Athletic supporters have demonstrated their dedication to the club, with season ticket sales already 20% higher than it was at the same stage last season.

At the close of play yesterday, fans, who had taken advantage of the early bird discount rate, had snapped up over 2,500 tickets.

With the club entering a new era with the new North Stand taking shape and new manager Darren Kelly assembling his squad for next season, the signs around the football club are very positive.

Almost 1,500 supporters have taken the opportunity to relocate to the new North Stand next season meaning for the first time in eight years all four sides of the stadium will be occupied ensuring a much better atmosphere.

Speaking about the sales, chairman Simon Corney said: "I want to personally thank every single supporter for renewing their season ticket with us for next season.

"The club are moving forward on and off the field and it's great to see so many of you sharing the same ambition we do.

"We now need you to get behind the new management staff and we look forward to seeing you all at the start of the season for another exciting League One campaign."
