We would like to welcome 3D Dynamos U9s to SportsDirect.com Park who are our “J D Williams Team Of The Week” for this afternoon's fixture.
We hope you all have a fantastic afternoon with us and enjoy the match.
3D Dynamos started in June 1992 with just three teams (U8s, U10s and U12s) after Val and Dave Broadbent along with their friends Allison and Wayne Holroyd had an idea of starting a football club so their sons David and Paul Broadbent and David Holroyd could play weekly league football along with their friends.
A meeting was held in Delph Club and from that meeting three teams were established and entered into the Tameside League for the 1992/1993 season.
Over the years the club has gone from strength to strength and has teams in every age group ranging from U7s through to two open age teams and our vets team the 3D Dinosaurs. The club is also credited with FA Charter Standard Development status.
We also have a soccer school for children aged 4 years to 6 years, they have a fun training session every Wednesday 5:30pm – 6:30pm at Saddleworth School, Uppermill under the guidance of Mark Aston, these children form the foundation of the club and keep it going every season with a new U7s team.
This season sees several of our teams in cup finals during May, hopefully we can fill our trophy cabinet up!
