Joseph Mills Visits Rushcroft Primary School

24 November 2015

Oldham Athletic’s Joseph Mills visited Rushcroft Primary School last Thursday to support the schools programme currently being delivered by Oldham Athletic Community Trust.

The afternoon saw Joseph visit the year five class who have recently been doing a project all around football. The class had some fantastic questions already prepared for Joseph as they found out more about him, about his career and his thoughts about women’s football. There was also an opportunity for the youngsters to get Joseph’s autograph and get a couple of pictures with the footballer.
The PFA were also at the visit, with PFA Community Liaison Executive Denis Leman at the school alongside Joseph and the Community Trust.
The visit was a part of the Community Trust’s schools programme and is one of many visits to local schools by Oldham Athletic players this season. Per week the Community Trust’s schools programme works with around 800 children across a variety of different projects and schools.
