Two of our own players were in action against each other this weekend as Rhys Murphy’s Crawley Town took on Rhys Turner’s York City.
It was Murphy’s Crawley Town side that came out on top as a late penalty sealed their win to take them into mid table whilst Turner’s York side sit in 22nd position.Three of our young players appeared for Ramsbottom United this weekend in their FA Trophy qualifying game against Ashton United.
And one of our players got themselves on the scoresheet as Jordan Bove gave Ramsbottom the lead seven minutes into the game.
However, they could not hold on to the lead and ended up drawing in a positive display.
George Edmundson played the full game whilst midfielder Jack Tuohy came on for the final five minutes of the game.
