Rhys Murphy won his Crawley Town side a penalty last night which Simon Walton dispatched but it was not enough to seal the three points against Northampton Town.

The striker was fouled in the penalty area, causing Northampton Town defender Brendan Moloney to be dismissed.

Walton stepped up and scored the penalty to reduce the arrears but it was the Cobblers that came out 1-2 winners.

Rhys Turner was an unused substitute in York City’s 6-0 defeat to Portsmouth, whilst Ramsbottom’s game last night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
