CLUB STATEMENT: North Stand Test Event
Following a series of meetings between the club, the developer and the certifying authorities all parties are endeavouring to ensure that the first ‘ramp up’ event for the club’s new North Stand proceeds as planned tomorrow.
Safety is obviously our priority and there are still some issues to resolve with all parties working tirelessly to do so. The club will issue a definitive statement as soon as we are able.
In the meantime, the following ticketing arrangements have been established for the game:
Should the ‘ramp up’ event proceed as planned the stand capacity has been set at 1200 for safety reasons and as a result the club would invite North Stand season ticket holders to participate in the test event.
North Stand season ticket holders should present their North Stand season ticket books at the turnstiles located at either end of the stand from 1.45pm on Saturday to gain admission.
Once the capacity for the event has been reached there will be no further admittance to the North Stand.
There will be no opportunity to purchase tickets for the North Stand for this test event.
The club would like to remind its disabled season ticket holders that there is no wheelchair access for this event and that facilities pertaining to such access and egress will be tested in the future.
If the ‘ramp up’ event is not given the go ahead, North Stand Season ticket holders will be able to gain access to the ground in either the TLH Auctioneers Rochdale Road Stand or George Hill Main Stand on production of their North Stand season ticket books at the turnstiles.
Given the short time frame available tickets for the George Hill Main Stand Upper will be issued on the turnstiles for this fixture.
Supporters are advised to attend as early as possible so as to avoid congestion at the turnstiles in either eventuality.
