Dunn Predicts Tough Encounter Against Swindon Town

19 October 2015

Manager David Dunn is expecting a tough game from managerless Swindon Town tomorrow night.

Robins Chairman Lee Power has named himself as temporary manager and will be in the hot seat for tomorrow’s encounter.

He relieved Mark Cooper of his services on Saturday night after two years with the club and Dunn believes his dismissal will cause a reaction to Swindon’s players.

He said: "They have been a little bit stop start. We have watched them a couple of times and they will be dangerous. We certainly won’t be underestimating them.

"They have lost their manager this week so that could cause a reaction from them so we will have to be at our best and replicate what we did on Saturday.

“He [Lee Power] has experience from his playing days but I’m not sure how much he has been involved in terms of the coaching side of the game.

“I believe he might have done it before but Lee has a load of experience and been around football for many years so he will want a reaction from Saturday’s defeat.”

Dunn was delighted with the reaction of his players against Sheffield United on Saturday and he wants to take that form into tomorrow’s game.

“Our squad at the minute, especially looking at it ahead of tomorrow, the lads who won’t get the start will make impact from the bench,” commented the 35-year-old.

“We’ve got options in the squad now which is very pleasing.”
