Midfielder Jay Fulton believes the club are not far from getting the wins to propel them further up the Sky Bet League One table.
The 21-year-old, who signed on loan from Swansea City last month, admits the club should be in a better position but one win could change everything.
He said: "With the games that I’ve been here, we are just missing that little bit of luck. The four games that I was here, we drew them all but we could have easily won them all.
“If we can get a win then I think we can get a few more wins on the back of that."
Fulton returned from international duty after playing 80 minutes against Iceland for Scotland under 21s and he is raring to go against Sheffield United tomorrow.
“They have a few Scottish boys playing there and they are a strong team so it will be a difficult game.”
An element of his game he is keen to improve is his goalscoring record.
The midfielder netted nine times for Falkirk but has yet to find the goal since moving south.
“I’ve not scored for a while now,” he said. “I’ve not scored since I’ve been down at Swansea so it would be nice to get on the scoresheet.”
