On loan midfield man Jay Fulton is keen to show the Oldham Athletic supporters what he can do after signing on loan for the club last Friday.
Unfortunately Fulton’s international clearance did not come through in time for the trip to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday but he’s looking to hit the ground running this weekend for he visit of Wigan Athletic.
“It will be a big game,” he said. "Hopefully I’ll be in the team, will make my debut on Saturday and get three points on the board.”
Fulton is highly regarded at Swansea City and has played seven times for his parent club since joining in January 2014.
“I have had a few good years with Swansea and I’ve been with the club for the last few years and I’ve done well there so the next step is to come here and get some games on loan,” he commented.
"I have made seven appearances with them but it’s been difficult. There are international players there so I’m just coming here to work hard and get games under my belt.
“If I can come here and work hard, hopefully I can show them what I’ve got and we can get some victories under our belts."
The midfielder finished by describing his style of play: “I like to think I have got good passing play and hopefully I can start the play through the midfield and get the attackers playing,” he said.
