Oldham Athletic Community Trust would today like to welcome Heyside Juniors U8s to SportsDirect.com as they are today’s “J D Williams Team of the Week” against Crewe Alexandra.
HEYSIDE FC
Heyside Juniors were formed with one team in 1975 by Brian Bakes and played its first competitive game in the 1975/1976 season.
Today the club has more than ninety teams with boys and girls, ladies and men all representing the club.
The club work with all ages, with sessions from the academy at under 5s right unto and including the open age teams and also the vets in the Manchester Vets Football League.
The club also proudly have the Ability Counts Teams, recently winners of the Pride of Oldham 2015 award.
Finally, as a club a new addition to the delivery is the Walking Football, for those looking to get back into football.

Today’s team of the week is Heyside U8s Whites and Blues who are sponsored by Crown Accident Repairs for the main kit, Web Applications UK and F&G Commercials Ltd for their training kits.
The team is managed by Iain Rodgers, assisted by Jordan Littlewood, Chris Wild and Shaun Austin.

U8s Whites: Ben Rodgers, Cameron Littlewood-Mcgowan, Jake Austin, Ben Wild, Freddie Hulley, Josh Sidebothan and Obi Jastrzebski.
U8s Blues: Ellis Dockray, Milo Greenidge, Cameron Ratcliffe, Callum Caton, Riley Milne, Ewan Riley, William Mellor and Josh Smith
