Midfielder Lee Croft has signed a six-month contract extension with the option of extending the deal until the end of the season.
Croft, who has impressed this pre-season, will be part of the squad which travels down to Millwall for tomorrow afternoon’s opening day clash.
The 31-year-old is vastly experienced having played over 350 games in his professional career for teams such as Manchester City, Norwich City and Derby County.
Croft made 24 appearances last season for Latics, scoring one goal which came against Bury.
The midfielder will wear the number 11 shirt this season.
