Full back Cameron Dummigan has joined Oldham Athletic from Premier League side Burnley for an undisclosed fee, subject to EFL and FA approval.
The full back, who was named the club’s Young Player of the Season last year, has penned a two-year contract with the option of a third.Dummigan spent the majority of last season on loan with Latics, playing 27 times and scoring one goal.
That came against Peterborough United in the opening two minutes of the game as Latics went on to win 2-1 in February.
Dummigan is currently on international duty with Northern Ireland under 21s and will not be available for Saturday’s game against Shrewsbury Town.
