Oldham Athletic can confirm the signing of striker Freddie Ladapo from Premier League side Crystal Palace until January.The striker joins Stephen Robinson’s men after impressing at Selhurst Park during pre-season.
Ladapo started his career with Colchester United before loan spells with Thurrock, Woking and Nuneaton Borough.
He made the permanent switch to Kidderminster Harriers but was loaned out to Grays Athletic where he netted 17 goals in 26 games.
The 23-year-old joined Margate and scored 23 goals in 49 appearances which caught the eye of scouts at Crystal Palace.
He signed for the Eagles for an undisclosed fee during the summer and scored the winning goal in a pre-season friendly against AFC Wimbledon.
The striker is eligible to play in tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy game against Carlisle United and will wear the number 12 shirt during his time at the football club.
