Oldham Athletic can confirm the appeal against the red card shown to full back Connor Brown has been rejected by an FA Review Panel this afternoon.
Latics submitted written and video evidence to support the appeal but the red card handed out was judged not to be a case of wrongful dismissal.
Brown will now serve a three match suspension starting with the game against Bury on Saturday.
